Liminal Spaces

Liminal spaces is the transition between two places whether that be emotionally, physically or metaphorically. To interpret this idea I looked at the transition between my home town and Manchester, looking for similarities between the two. My unit is mainly based around of the idea of traditional working men mainly looking at the 1940's for inspiration. I was inspired by both my grandad and great grandad since they were both miners.
